Chief Brand Officer
As Chief Brand Officer at MediaLink, Lena Petersen is responsible for amplifying the company’s existing brand marketing activities such as its ancillary programming tracks at Cannes, CES and dmexco and developing new visibility platforms at these and other global conferences and tent-pole events. Working out of our Chicago office, she is also responsible for agency relationships, including sponsorship, event ideation, branding and art direction for all programs and franchises.
Lena joins MediaLink from Publicis Media (formerly Starcom Mediavest Group – SMG), where she was EVP of Products and Partnerships and orchestrated a series of industry-first brand partnerships and events, including agency-led experiences at tent-pole events, many of which were in partnership with MediaLink. She also co-directed SMG’s Global Product Committee and is credited with reinventing the company’s award program. Prior to SMG, Lena was responsible for marketing communications efforts at Leo Burnett and for a period as Assistant Press Secretary for the Office of the Speaker and Illinois House Minority Leader.
