Head of Corporate Development


As Head of Corporate Development at MediaLink, Martin is responsible for bridging the gap between where MediaLink is today and where it should be tomorrow. His time is spent spearheading strategic growth initiatives within the company, including cross-portfolio collaboration under the Ascential plc umbrella, helping strategize on other organic and inorganic revenue opportunities, and executing upon these strategies. Martin also continues to work closely with MediaLink Chairman and CEO, Michael Kassan, on important initiatives including senior client management, internal operational imperatives, and industry thought leadership.

Previously, Martin was Chief of Stuff at MediaLink, where he worked closely with Michael Kassan and the rest of the employees of the Company. His work spanned all industry groups covered by MediaLink, including media, entertainment, advertising, technology and the confluence of these once disparate industries. His focus was on client engagement work, business development, internal operations and any other “stuff” in between.

Martin began his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse in the Equity Capital Markets Group where he covered the real estate, gaming and financial institutions sectors. He also aided in the successful execution of 20+ initial public offerings and 150+ follow-on offerings. Later, he transitioned to the Financial Institutions Group where he assisted clients with debt and equity capital raises, M&A advisory work and ratings advisory work, amongst other strategic functions.

Martin graduated from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. While in college, he co-founded and operated an e-commerce water distribution company called H2GoBlue.
