Ross has spent his career at the nexus of media and technology. As an entrepreneur early in his career in the magazine publishing and music industries, he saw how technology would change the business of content production and advertising and has been at the forefront of emerging media ever since.
Ross has held positions at Apple and Fox Interactive (working on monetization and sales strategy for MySpace, IGN, and Rotten Tomatoes) and led business development and ad solutions at Yahoo! Small Business. Most recently, he held leadership positions in Business Strategy and Audience Development at Meebo (sold to Google), Pulse News (sold to LinkedIn), and Datalogix (sold to Oracle). He concentrates on publisher growth focusing on mobile, ad technology, data, and audience development.
Ross holds a BA from Cornell University, a Masters in Interactive Telecommunications from NYU’s Tisch School and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business. In his spare time, he curates his favorite articles at ReadingRoss.com.
