The Future Is Female: A Marketer’s Take From The Front Lines Of CES

Amid the conversation about the lack of women on stages and behind podiums, I participated in an all-female panel assembled by Conde Nast and MediaLink at the Consumer Electronics Show.

The panel was moderated by Pamela Drucker Mann, CRO and CMO, Conde Nast and included Kasha Cacy, U.S. CEO, UM; Karen Kahn, CCO, HP Inc.; and Lorraine Twohill, CMO, Google.

The theme – “The Future is Female” – was a bit misleading. Actually, the present is female, as today, women make or influence 85% of all purchase decisions and control more than 50% of all personal wealth in the United States.
